HOTEL OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT

With the wide increase of local and international hotels TUCOM recognize the need of expertise in hospitality issues specifically hotel operation and management to fill that gap. We prepare operational and managerial expertise in hotel industry. Many of our students enjoy working in various hotels in Tanzania mainland and Island being part of their practical training or/and employment. Our training in hotel operation gives students the opportunity to work in various hotels’ departments including;

1.         I.            Front Office

1.       II.            Food and Beverage Service (in restaurant, bar etc.)

1.     III.            Food production (kitchen) and

1.     IV.            Hotel House Keeping

However, they can apply the knowledge of entrepreneurship they get in studies to establish their own business venture.

EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM/NURSERY SCHOOL TEACHING

Multi-English medium primary schools that are mushrooming today have shown potentiality of having specialties in guiding and teaching pupils. TUCOM trains very competent individuals to cope with the International primary schools and other local English medium primary schools. Today many of our students enjoy working in such schools as teachers, academic coordinators, dean of students and the like.

ICT intends to offer the students with the IT knowledge and skills of using computer system (Technology) to gather, process, store, protect, and transfer of information. TUCOM trains competent specialist in Information Technology and Communication Technology who have a wide range of employment by either employed in government sectors, private sectors and more important to employ themselves by serving thousand if not millions of Tanzanians who needs the serves of ICT Technicians.
